Today was Santarchy 2012 in DC! Hundreds of Santas…Santi…Santai descended on the Mall to spread Christmas cheer. Besides Santa the crowd included reindeer, Christmas trees, presents, and a ginger bread house. The mood was jovial and full of Christmas spirit.
The march started on the steps of the Natural History Museum and then progressed to the carousel across the mall where fun was had to Jingle Bells and chants of “HO HO HO!” As the convey continued to the Washington Monument I had to say goodbye.
